AI Terms of Use

Effective date: December 9, 2025

This is an amendment to the Terms of Use ("TOU") found at www.mapistry.com/terms-of-use.

As part of a Customer's Services and subject to the appropriate license tier, Mapistry offers an AI System, also known as "Maple AI", for data input and output, subject to the following terms.

Mapistry currently uses OpenAI API, which means we transmit Customer Data to them for processing as part of the Services. We may offer additional LLM providers in the future. You can read more about OpenAI's privacy policy here.

• Customer owns Output based on provided Input.
  
  
• Customer Data is not allowed to be used by any third party to train their AI System(s).
  
  
• Mapistry can use customer data and/or output to develop, train or otherwise improve Mapistry's AI System. Mapistry retains all rights to its models, algorithms, and derivative works.

Disclaimer: AI features may produce inaccurate or incomplete results. Customer is responsible for reviewing Outputs before use. Outputs do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice.

Definitions

AI System means any system, model, tool, or software that autonomously or partly autonomously processes data through the use of a genetic algorithm, a neural network, machine learning, large language models, or other techniques in order to generate content or make decisions, recommendations, or prediction.

Input means all information and data submitted to the AI System as part of Customer's use of the Services.

Output means all information, data, product, content, and results generated from the Input by the AI System as part of the Services.
